Yes, that’s right – plus most AI text to image models can’t handle more than a bit of basic text at the moment. There may be an easier approach using ChatGPT and a custom GPT or plugin that creates diagrams and flowcharts instead.

It’s a small world, as the song goes.
I too have an India theme 😉

I’ve made various images (hundreds in stock about India) to illustrate a white paper on the India travel market (tourists to India and from India to the rest of the world).

A big job that I hope to finish soon with the help of 2 other AIs (Perplexity Pro with LLM Claude-3 for research & PDF summaries and Reactor.is to help me write the content of the white paper) and not forgetting the natural AI of my brain 🙂

So here are some of the images created with Midjourney, a complex but exceptional tool.
I encourage everyone to have a look at Midjourney, soon they’ll be making their Alpha version of their portal available to everyone, which makes it much easier to create images.
This without going through Discord, which I admit is a headache even for me.

A few technical details.

• So the images are generated by my prompts in Midjourney.
• It often takes several iterations to finally find the right image. (Iteration is one of the keys to how AI works).
• Sometime I edit the images using Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo (a professional alternative to Illustrator and Photoshop).

A few personal convictions for working well with AIs

• Don’t be prejudiced about AIs
• Be lucid, curious and try to understand how it works
• Learn about AI from good professionals and don’t hesitate to ask questions.
• Start with simple things. I started with ChatGPT 3.5, co-writing stories for children and funny little stories with this AI. An excellent way of understanding how it works and playing with the AI, iterations, etc….
• And like everything else, do a bit every day and in a few months you’ll already have an excellent level.

– Finally, remember that the best experts in everything have all started from almost zero.

So a few more weeks of work, and the white paper will be distributed free of charge to tourism and hotel professionals who want to capture market share in the large and vibrant India market.
