Artificial Intelligence Personal Development

Day 17 of 30 Day AI Challenge – A Kids Guide To Money, a free eBook co-created with AI

For those just joining us, every day during this challenge, I’m going to try and do something different or better, using currently available Artificial Intelligence tools.

Today’s challenge takes on something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now…create a simple, digestible introduction to personal finance for kids.

It’s Never Too Early: Teaching Kids About Money

It’s no secret that our educational system often falls short when it comes to financial literacy (one of my many gripes…feels like education today is still stuck in the early 20th century and primarily designed to churn out ‘good workers’ to fuel industrialization. This is no longer acceptable for the ‘knowledge’ age we’re currently living in). Most of us end up learning about personal finance way too late in life, and we can’t help but think about all the time we could have saved (and the mistakes we could have avoided) if we’d only started earlier. I know that if I was better armed (even in my twenties), I would be much further ahead on path to financial independence today.

Imagine if we could give our kids a head start by teaching them the basics of money management, budgeting, and investing right from the get-go. By empowering them with financial knowledge, we’d be setting them up for a lifetime of success and responsible money management.

That’s precisely why, for today’s challenge, I teamed up with ChatGPT and Midjourney to create a fun and informative eBook called “A Kids Guide To Money“. The eBook is designed for kids aged 8+ and is filled with engaging content and illustrations to make learning about money a blast! And the best part? It’s absolutely FREE! That’s right; I wanted to make this valuable resource available to all parents and kids who want to jump-start their financial education journey.

“A Kids Guide To Money” is narrated by Max the Money-Smart Squirrel, a relatable and charming character who guides young readers through the world of personal finance. Max covers essential topics such as earning, saving, budgeting, investing, and giving back in a way that’s easy for kids to understand and enjoy.

My goal with this eBook is to help kids develop a strong foundation in personal finance, setting them on the path to becoming financially responsible adults. So, if you’re a parent or caregiver looking to instill money-smart habits in the young ones in your life, look no further than “A Kids Guide To Money”. Provided you accept the disclaimer below, feel free to download your free copy (PDF version available on this page) and read or share with those that need it.

Remember, it’s never too early to teach kids about money. The sooner we start, the better off they’ll be in the long run. Let’s work together to raise a generation of money-smart, financially responsible individuals who can navigate the complex world of personal finance with confidence and success. Happy reading!
