Welcome to the 2024 Edition of the #30DayAIChallenge. This year, we’ll be focusing on making Generative AI more accessible for all. So follow along and give each challenge a try yourself, plus share your own thoughts and experiments with a community of like-minded learners and tinkerers!*
On the last day of this year’s AI Challenge, it only seems fitting that we leverage some of the things we learned over the past 30 days to bring it all together…with an AI generated trailer!
Creating The Script
I decided to leverage ChatGPT (you can also use your favourite LLM / AI powered Chatbot here) to ideate about the script, laying out the challenge as well as asking it to help me with script ideas.
With a bit of iteration, I decided to go with a fun, comic book inspired look and a central Gen Z character who goes from ‘zero to hero’ in 30 Days with the AI Challenge. I used ChatGPT mainly for the flow, captions and lyrics for our backing audio track.

The Audio Track For Our Trailer
For our song, I used a new AI tool that appears to be even better than Suno, called Udio (Beta). All I had to do was provide the lyrics from ChatGPT and the description of the style…in this case Electronic Pop infused with a bit of energetic Hip Hop with Futuristic Digital Beats.

The Visuals
For the visuals, I drew inspiration from ChatGPT’s script but mainly used Midjourney for image creation. I used a central character produced by Dall E 3 (via ChatGPT) to get some character consistency throughout.

Creating the images using Midjourney: In addition to style and character references, I also leveraged the Niji style to emulate a comic book look.

Bringing It All Together
For this final step, I used Final Cut Pro X to pull together the images and audio, adding appropriate effects within the tool. Of course, any video editing tool that you’re comfortable with can work well here. I could have also added a bit more to this by using some of the video generation tools…for example, using Runway ML or Pika Labs to transform the images to video clips, but I decided to keep things simple.

Here’s our final product…not too shabby for less than an hour’s work. Given more time and effort, I think it’s possible to create some really compelling content!
